The South Carolina Law Review cordially invites you to our upcoming symposium. Our keynote speaker this year is the Rt. Honorable Lord Justice John Laws from the Inner Temple in London, whose opening address will facilitate discussions on the status of our judiciary in America, the Fourth Circuit, and South Carolina by examining the characteristics that make it unique to the nation and region. Panelists will examine such topics as the judicial decision-making process, judicial selection, recusal, and funding of the judiciary. Practitioners will learn tips on how to best use these tools to gain a better understanding of the judiciary while furthering its integrity.
