Personal Jurisdiction for the Twenty-first Century: The Implications of McIntyre and Goodyear Dunlop Tires

On June 27, 2011, the Supreme Court of the United States decided two personal jurisdiction cases: J. McIntyre Machinery, Ltd. v. Nicastro, stream of commerce-specific jurisdiction, and Goodyear Dunlop Tires Operations, S.A. v. Brown, general jurisdiction. These are the Court's first decisions in either area in over twenty years. Please join us as we consider these cases and explore their implications.
