James P. Sullivan Elected Editor in Chief

On February 7, 2007 the membership of the South Carolina Law Review elected James P. Sullivan (Jim) as the Editor in Chief of Volume 59. Jim has a BA in English from College of the Holy Cross in Worchester, Massachusetts, an MA in Teaching with a concentration in secondary school English from The Citadel, and expects to receive his JD from USC in 2008.  Before law school, Jim taught English at James Island Charter High School in Charleston.  Jim's note, L-J, Inc. v. Bituminous Fire and Marine Insurance Co. : A "Comedy of Occurrences," will be published in the Law Review's Survey of South Carolina Law in April 2007.  "The Law Review membership is excited that Jim will lead the organization next year," said Carmen Thomas, the current Editor in Chief.
